"YOU DON'T KNOW ME" - Reader Plan

The main character in this story is John, a common high school guy. He doesn’t describe to much the persons who are around him, but he talks a little about his teacher, like Mrs. Gabriel, her math teacher, even if he calls her Mrs. Garlic Breath or Mrs. Moonface for her with skin tone, or Mr. Steenwilly, his music teacher. He also talks about his friend, Billy Beanman, but he calls him Beezer cause his nose “that is not a friend” because the like the same girl, or Glory Hallelujah, the girl he likes, and for a miracle, he doesn’t have a nickname for her. It is also his father, who doesn’t have a pretty good relationship with, even, he hates his father, that for him “it is not a real father”.

This story happens nowadays, the setting where he relates his life are his house, that doesn’t relate too much, the only thing that made it different for the other houses is that it has an apple tree, that had never given a single apple. And when he isn’t in his house, that is too often, he is in his school, a normal school, with all those classrooms and other special things that an usual school has.

You don’t know me, wrote by David Klass it’s a kind off a drama book, and I can´t classified it as an excellent book, it is not bad, but it isn’t the best I have ever red, because, it is one of those common “teenage stories”, that begins making a description of his/her life, and always have a trouble with love, or with their partners, or is the popular of the school that really isn’t like that, or is the weird that don´t want to be it anymore. In this case, the author fusion two or three things. The first is that he has really problems in his house like, his dad punch him, and another ones. The second is that he is invisible in his school, but I have to make clear something and it is that HE IS NOT A NERD, he is only kind of shy, introverted and a quit fearful. And third one, and I think the only thing I think I haven’t read is that he has a peculiar and creepy perspective of life, for example, he says his school is not an real school, that it is and “anti-school” because, in school “it’s supposed that is a place to have fun but those place is torture. That it´s a place to learning, and there you only become stupid. That schools are supposed to has a library, but that doesn’t have it” and other things like that. But the creepy thing is that he is like that with everyone and everything. That is why his dad is not a dad, or his friend is not a friend, or even his tuba is not a tuba, it’s a frog.

David Klass was born in Vermont, being the son of two professors, Sheila Solomon and Dr. Morton Klass, he graduated of USC of cinema and television.
